A. Hole diameter range: What is drilling width (diameter) range for your workpiece?

The gun drill drilling range: 1.4mm-40mm. The BTA deep hole drilling machine drilling range 30mm-100mm. If the workpiece is bigger, please use deep-hole boring machine.

B. Hole depth range: What is drilling depth range for your workpiece?

Diameter-to-length-Ratio (Drilling Diameter/Drilling Depth) = 1: 150 for Drill Gun. While Deep Hole Boring Machine is capable to handle upto 12000mm hole operation.

C. The location and distribution of drilling: Where do you need to drill in the workpiece? central hole, or eccentric hole?

They require different tooling.

D. The shape of the workpiece: What's the shape of your workpiece?

If it is a single-hole on cylindrial workpiece, you can choose a single-coordinate with uni-axis. If 2, 3 or 4 holes, then choose a single-coordinate with 2, 3 or 4 axises to improve efficiency. Double-coordinate can be chosen for both single-row and Double-row Holes drilled on square workpieceFor, however, irregular shape, 3- or 4-coordinate could be adopted.

E. The weight of the workpiece: How heavy is your workpiece?
